Weather stinkith. Did get frame all welded up and the air compressor died when I started cleaning up the welds. Drat ! Note: Comparing the strength and weight of my two current frames 2x2 angle and 2x2 square I really think the square was overkill. 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 SQ tongue has worked fine even on my heavy 10 footer.

Borrowed an electric grinder. Welds cleaned up and 1 coat of rustoleum black on it. Floor built and will install on Friday. Going to have to spring for better wood for sides. Oh well.

:D 13 days to go on my 26 day build.Daughter wants to take to MyrtleBeach on 3 Dec. Donation of good plywood for sides. $4.69 for nuts and bolts to mount floor to frame (completed) Total out of pocket expenses to date is $70.84 out of my $200.00 budget. So far so good.

Sides up, interior trim painted and walls carpeted. More cross braces and roof on Sunday if it doesn't rain any more. This thing is really coming along very nicely and still way under budget.

:D All interior panelling installed. First sheet of top on. Short section of top to install and galley hatch and galley shelving, install door and windows, paint and it's done. Next Friday if weather holds off. Supposed to rain for next couple of days though. Surprized at how much easier an 8 foot long TD is compaired to my first two 10 foot TD's. Had to spend $23.42 for another sheet of wood and some screws. $94.26 out of pocket so far. I originally thought this would run me about $500. Looks like I'll be under the later $200.00 estimate. I am quite pleased with how this is coming out. Looks nice with interior all carpeted.

The carpet is a commercial grade loop and profesional type glue that my son in law had left over from a flooring job. This stuff should stay up for ever he said. I have a throw away camera and will take some photos when it stops raining sometime this week. He has some leftover linoleum that I will use for the entire galley area too.

Yes I hear you. Rainy/yucky out but did get door hung, aluminum around door frame and handle fitted. Going to have to buy some decent wood to make hatch frame. :( Darn; more money.

:( Some wood, some screws, trailer light kit, a used tire. Up to about $140.00 now. Still need galley hinge and latches. Interior light and fan will come later, but, I will wire for them now. Haven't decided about roof insulation yet. It's going to be closer than I thought.
