1) Teardrops are never finished, you just need to tweak the tongue box and probably a dozen other things.
2) Nobody gives me the thumbs up driving either. They'll wait till you're fixing dinner to come talk to you so you burn everything.

True dat, You also have to include gas stops. When you plan for a quick splash and go, you end up staying for 30min. It's funny; one person will ask to look at the galley, when you open it up 3 other people who were too shy to ask come running to look.

Is that all? I was going for twelve.

But are you sure you counted right?

Plus, you can't count the religious ones, because they have nothing to do with ethnicity.

After hearing of your backing woes, i'm going to spread the wisdom my mother taught me when i was 14 and learning to back up a trailer.

Put your hand on the BOTTOM of the steering wheel. Now, if your hand goes right, your trailer goes right. If you hand goes left, your trailer goes left.

Lesson 2, little trailers take very little turning to make them move. Use small, slow motions. Easy does it and you'll have that trailer where you need it in no time!

Yes, I knew this. I know this. I STUDIED this in my head 1,000 times!!!.

I even had f*$# nightmares DREAMING about this.

But knowing and doing are two totally separate things:

Kind of like sex, which I usually miserably failed at as well.

Can't of failed at sex all the time...you got two great kids..... means you'll be able to back the trailer up properly at least twice.........

Ira, Ole Buddy, my heart went out to you...and I even shed tears (but only from laughing so hard).

Sorry about the tongue box. I always wondered if it's being that big would cause any problems. I never noticed that the front was so close to the coupler. With a Silverado, you have plenty of room in the bed for stuff, so you can do without a tongue box for one trip. Or, bet a ready made box from WM and strap it on the tongue.

I sympathize with you about the backing. I still have a harder time backing my utility trailer (just like the HF model). My TTT and boat trailer are longer and back much easier. I think the key is very small steering wheel movements.

Whatever you get done, can't wait to hear your stories at Anastasia as we sit on the beach and fish.
Dale

Sometimes I pretend to be normal. But, that gets boring...so I go back to being me.

John--THAT'S FUNNY! Yeah, I did that right twice!

And Dale, thanks for the support too.

For most of you that don't know, Dale and I have been number one build buddies communicating through PMs and email. Of course, he finished HIS trailer in like 3 months, whereas I'm on a year and a half:

So I secretly hate his guts but we still get along pretty well.

You said you were going to takes some shots, so does that mean you learned how to use the new camera or joined the NRA?
