Okay here's the link...

Now you know, if you have a webpage, and you have .jpg or .gif uploaded, you can use the image tab here... But short of that, all you can use is a link. Sorry about that.

So are you going to drive down to visit Jim? Seems to me a long time ago he was talking about moonshine. I wonder what that was all about, but even more importantly, if he has any left!? :laughing8:

Hey Frank..what neck of the woods you in..and yes, thats what i intend to do is a butt joint with some board behind it..and also, i'm thinking of using some 90 degree braces on the floor side just for good measure..the rib method of hatch making is a little harder than i thought it would be, so I might be hacking some ribs out of plywood like everyone else.. 8) PS, never mind..i see Aiken now..*g*..and i'd say come on down, but it's supposed to be raining off and on all weekend..and in regards to St Patty's day..i'll be painting the sides of my tear in the Irish flag colors and calling it the Leprichaun.

lSounds like you're on the right track, and I like the leprichaun name. Yes it is raining here and has been most of the morning, so how is it there? :( Are you working outside or inside? :?

I would sguggest that you use ply for the joiner piece so splitting would not be a problem. Glue it and screw it well. AL

Very good idea Al, had not thought about the spliting possibility! One of the advantages of this board. More heads looking at the problem. :)
