First day outside!

Postby beverlyt » Sun May 02, 2004 6:10 pm

Well, we finally pulled the trailer out from the garage. First day it's seen the outdoors since we started 6 months ago.
The hatch is still not done. The aluminum was just too thick to work with so we have found some lighter aluminum that we think will do the trick.
Mike, we did make up some rather simple rain guards for the doors and they should do the trick.
We also have the vent in place. Should be done with the galley hatch trim within a day or two.
I have taken a few pictures today. The first pic is of the front of the trailer where we have the most bubbling effect from the pvc. The surface underneath was pretty much fine...not sure why it happened...though we can live with it.
The rest of the trailer has very little of this problem.
We have plans to go camping 2 weeks from now!
Go here for pictures taken today.

Your teardrops are looking great! You did an excellent job on them. I'll bet you can't wait to go camping. 8)

Congratulations! Nice job. I also had to take mine out of the garage and pull it around the block. I somehow thought of it as a birthing process. :D
