Ordered my axel today should be in next week. This is my first teardrop so I hope everything goes well. I plan on building the frame this weekend. I went with the Kuffel Creek Press plans 10' Comet. Would like to hear any advice that you guys have. Since this is my first one I may stick pretty close to the plans. I will keep you posted on the progress.

Tbow, You'll like building the Comet. I pruchased the plans on a cd. Currently, I'm completing the roof, stripped cedar, and just have the galley and hooking up lights to go. I stretched the width to 5', and built the Tear as a totally wood "woody". I'm sure that you will do well. If I can be of any assistance, yell!

The frame is almost done. Just have to put the axel on when it gets in, add the hitch, chains, and jack. Will take some photos soon
