Frame and old adhesive

Postby ALAN GEDDES » Fri May 07, 2004 5:27 pm

Got my trailer all welded up and ready to paint. Should be able to slide it under Tear first of the week. I think I may have over engeneered it as it feels darn heavy but it should last for ever. Getting that dried construction adhesive off the ribs and sides after my roof goof is a bear. It's a good indication of how strong that stuff is. Once it sets up it is on there. AL

Should anyone ever have to remove construction adhesive I have learned how. Putty knife before it sets too hard. Let whats left dry well for a few days then use a rasp to get the rest. It will clog up a sander belt real easy. Now I can get my roof finished this week with wheels under it and that leaves only the galley , hatch and paint. I may cover with aluminum at a later date.
