Does anyone know of anyone who has made one and how much heavier would this be??

Jerry of Maxitear has one, shown below. Is it equal or liter then your Maxitear.

Kampmaster. It's a bit wider, and a bit longer. It would probably be in the 1200 to 1500# range. That's a nice trailer.

One person even built a slide out into one...

I was thinking about building one, but then I didn't want to build that complex at this point in time.

Not necessarily - the originals were around 800#. Of course they didn't have A/C, heaters and the like... :tard:

Mike,

the Photo is that a new one or revamp?

It is wide because the bed is sideways?? couldn't a slide out be used on a narrower one.

couldn't it be the width of a Toyota pickup and it would still need some length. Which would reduce the weight. As well as may furniture now a day can be made with lighter materials.

I saw this on one of those links up there. What do you think of the way the hatch is cut? It looks like that straight edge would be easier to make than the usual where the curve is higher on the edge. Do you like the look of it?
