It's good to be back......

Postby Ross Wade » Mon May 17, 2004 2:27 pm

After a fried hard drive and no contact with the outside world (T&TTT ) for a little over two weeks, we made great progress on our teardrop.

The roof is now completed. Two layers of 1/8" ply, stained, epoxy & glassed and four coats of urethane. All it needs now, is to be trimmed. One door is hung and trimmed. The most dreaded part I have been fearing , is ready to be epoxied and glassed.....THE GALLEY LID :P . I followed the advice of Mike , Steve , Larry and Gage. It worked the first time with no problems. Thanks guys.

We should have it all dried in in time for Allens little get together in mid June. The galley won't be done, but we've got time.

Pictures will follow very soon. Thanks for all of your support. Ross

Hey Ross! I wondered where you've been! Computer crashing is a real pain! I would really like to see how you did the roof on your's. Ive been stripping my roof, off and on, for three weeks, with small diversion projects on the tear in between. I'm wondering if I should have done aluminum! I'm getting anxious to go out camping!! I'm pretty sure that it will be worth it though.
Post a few pics of your progress if you can. Thanx, Steve
