I have been trying to talk SWMBO into bringing the tent and coming down. I want to be there, and if need be, I may just come down by myself. The TD is still aways away, but I still need to do some camping.

I, like a lot of people would like to buy a petcool. I'm not looking forward to paying 500+ bucks for one, But I do live in south louisiana and will have to have some sorta AC. That being said is there ANYONE selling the units other than the company who has them on back order? I found this Linked Here would this be from same company that has the unit on back order?

The link you provided is a different company then the one with the "Container" problem. The price quoted by the "Adam's Company" is higher by/about $100.00 dollars though.
I got ours not from the original scource, but the second generation,(current provider/currently out of stock/back ordered) its green, and was purchased last October 2007, delivered to the house for $379.00.

Thanks Pdbeta, I just got off the phone with Hitec the guy told me " first week of May up until around the 15th of may is when I could expect to receive a pet cool if I purchased one today" Well I guess I can wait until may and get the hundred bucks off that is offered... I also called the Adam's company and due to the fact that they have none in stock and that they get there stock form Hitec the logical thing would be to get inline and wait like everyone else. less you wanna sale me yours for $450.00 '8)'

In a perfect world I love to sell ya mine. But if I did and then was unable to get one? The Princess would kill me! She's a tough woman to please! And the unit is untested in the double wide.

Last I heard , delivery is now set for the end of May. As I ordered mine in the middle of January, I got tired of waiting so I cancelled my order and demanded a refund. I'll make other cooling arrangements. I got tired of the run around.

I contacted Beth last week as I was thinking about cancelling my order. (I didn't) She told me that the new shipment is mid May. So, I'm good for mid May, if it doesn't happen then though, well........

I ordered back in Nov. 07.
I poked it with a stick..........

Did everyone have to make full payments or partial payments?

Hmmm, I wonder how much interest was made on all that money that they have held onto since Nov?

Same Predicament

Postby aggie79 » Tue Apr 22, 2008 8:48 am

I am assembling fixtures and hardware for my first build, and am following this closely. Hopefully some one will chime in when they recieve their units. I guess then I'll pull the trigger on this unit.
