SUPPLIER LISTS

Postby Guy » Sat Feb 12, 2005 3:47 pm

Daer All,

This thread is proposed for information only not general comments.

It is a list of Sources for teardrop materials.

The object is to easily find suppliers withouit having to sort through a myriad of threads. Therefore posts should read like:

"Dressing Room
http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=77400

Twenty dollar privacy room that juist pops up"

Then add a comment like. "workd great , good service," or longer based on inuse or installation experience.

this simple thread if comments are kept to a minimum it may cut down dramactically on the sometimes difficult search through threads and the creatioon of new threads that are dplicative.

Guy, I really like the idea of having a central place. Is this something Mike could put in the top with the album, faq, etc.?

I keep some stuff in my bookmarks for reference, but miss a lot...

It also would be handy to have it broken down in sections, like suspension, windows, etc....

Yes but buried

Postby Guy » Sun Feb 13, 2005 6:15 am

Yes it is sort of what I had in mind however that is a little too buried. And of a more general nature.

Well, now I know there is a 'links' section.... am wondering if a 'suppliers' heading could have sub-catagories inside it.?

Can we come up with catagories we would like to have without getting too complicated? Alphabetical order would be nice...

air conditioning

hardware

lights

portopotties

suspension

tents

etc?

Arne,

That's a good idea.

It won't necessairly take care of the "too deep" problem, but it's definitely going to get the links in the right place!!!

I should have some time this afternoon, I'll start playing with it...

Too deep maybe solved

Postby Guy » Sun Feb 13, 2005 1:35 pm

Dear Mike,

Maybe an easy solution would be to put a link under teardrop.us that says suppliers and sources link. that would link to another forum index.

Oh, is that not great of me to decide what is easy, when you have to do the work :?
