Almost DONE!!!

Postby myjeepcherokee » Sun Mar 06, 2005 5:14 pm

Got some time to work on the tear this weekend. Got pretty much the entire outside done! Now all that is left is to finish some small details with the interior and I'll be ready to travel! The Doors and the Windows were the main focus of my efforts;

Looking good. I like the wood work around the windows. How di you make the seam (assuming its a seam) in the roof? Looks interesting. :applause:

The running boards are a nice, individual touch. Very clean.

I can't tell. Do the windows open and do you have a roof vent of some sorts?

Have a good day,
Gage

Hey Jeep,

Did you put your collection of photos up on the web somewhere?

Pictures of the complete build can be found here http://cmsu2.cmsu.edu/~mrb92340/tear/ I should have the final pictures up by later on this week. I'll also post a material and cost sheet for my build in case anyone is interested.

The windows frames were made out of 3/4" Birch that was cut and routed to match the profile of the windows. In case some of you were wondering the windows are tinted plexi glass....still need to finish tinting the door side.
