I junked the metal Fuse box (see pics). The negative was not isolated from the metal part and that worried me. I also ripped out the 14 gauge speaker wire and replaced it with 12 stranded 14 gauge wire from HD. The insulation on the speaker wire just seemed too soft and I was worried about running my neg and pos. side by side. With the individual wire I could run the - and + along different paths and keep them separated.
Finally ended up with a 4x6x2 project box (plastic) from Radio Shack for the fuse panel. It's much easier to access than the 4 in metal box I started with.
Now to glue up the inside skins and spars. Guess I'll insulate the top and skin the outside after that.
Love to look at other people's pics so thought I'd share mine.
