Ok, don't laugh, but here is the start of the new trailer..it will be all wood except the wheels and tongue and the screws of course..the piece of wood i bolted the wheels to is supposed to be a 6X6 post..yeah right..i wanted it cut diagonally, so they did it on a 9X9 piece of wood..it's heavy man...but anyways..till i get my dns straighted out here's the addy http://68.51.153.235/trailer

Whoa - I am impressed. That thing looks strong enough to build a BIG teardrop on.

What are you final overall dimensions going to be (sorry if this has already been disclosed). Keep up the great work.

Jim,, refresh my old memory,,,,why did you scrap the metal frame and go to the wood frame,,I seem to remember problems but cant remember what???nice scrap pile though,,interested in following the progress on the wood frame you now working on,,,and also the weight of the finished tear,,,watch out for the T-mites,,they gonna follow ya progress real close too,,keep the pics coming

Buford..thanks man..i'll be posting progress as it happens.

Dave, the final size of the tear will be 5 X 10 X 5 wide..and your right, so far this frame is a beast.

Chip, if the termites don't eat it, the fat lighter axle might catch fire. :lol:
