General Discussion about almost anything Teardrop or camping related

I never heard the entire bagpipes saga, but it sounds interesting.

How many times do you read a thread about BAGPIPES???

By the way, I play music (guitar, a drop of mando), so check out www.elderly.com

No--it's not a geriatric site; it's a place in Michigan that sells a lot of popular and obscure instruments, including pipes.

That little Ebay bagpipe deal cured me of any desire to play them...
I've been a drummer most of my life and I'll just stick to them as far as musical instruments go...

IraRat,
All ebay auctions are listed as Pacific time so if'n ya didn figure that in correctly that is most likely the problem. I've done that myself.

IraRat,

Can you see who won the auction? Maybe the seller pulled it at the last minute because s/he wasn't getting a high enough bid.

Don't "should" on yourself, there are plenty of others who will "should" on you for no reason. Accept what you did and move on. Life is too short.

I snipe just about everything I bid on. I use a snipe service so I don't have to be online to snipe an auction.

Could you explain this a little more? Is it a bot? Custom made, etc? I'm interested in possibly obtaining one and need more information.

I always try to snipe auctions too, but the darn snipe service (I assume)usually beats me out. I'll have to try it sometimes. I usually get anxious at about 2 minutes, put my bid in too early, and get beat in the last few seconds.

Really? I thought Ebay automatically accounts for that when you register. But regardless, I'm Eastern--so that would have made it end 3 hours LATER.

Sarge, they do tell you who wins, but that doesn't help. It could be a friend of the seller.
