Test run and progress update

Postby David Niver » Sun Jun 27, 2004 3:33 pm

Well we just got back from the first run on the tear.
Pulled like a dream but the little wheels have got to go tey make it ook silly.
I've got to finish the galley, strap the cooler shut aand paint.
Still have to cover the wood on the outside and may move the tail lites.
The ac worked well in the afternoon but didn't need it in the evening, did use the vent and fan at night.
Still have a way's to go but it worked out better than expected.
I posted a few more pic's on page 2 and 3 at http://groups.msn.com/camper/shoebox.msnw

Tire size

Postby David Niver » Sun Jun 27, 2004 5:29 pm

I have some faith in the small size because when it was a motorcycle trailer I hauled two full dressed bikes to Sturges SD and back with no problems and I think they weight around 1300 or 1400lbs.
But I think I'm going to try 14" because that's what our Mavericks run.
