How to draw an elipse. If you want curves that are not perfectly round try this: Make a model first out of a 6 inch stick and then scale up to the size you want. Put a nail at both ends. tie a string about 15 inches long to make a loop. put the loop around both nails. hold pencil inside string and keeping tension on the string and holding wood in place draw an oval. rotate the board a few degrees and you start creating the roofline of a Tear. Adust lengths/angles to get what you want. AL G

If you want more info on elipses check out this site. I can't remember his name but I believe he is in the UK. There is also a lot more teardrop info on his site. It's well worth checking out.
