Weighing your trailer

Postby beverlyt » Wed Jul 14, 2004 6:09 am

Hello all,
I'd like to take my trailer down and get it weighed. Any ideas on where to go to get a weight?
I'm going to call the landfill...the only place I can think of with a scale.

Hi Bev,

Some of the larger truck stops have scales and charge a minimal fee for the service.

I just pulled it into a state truck scale on the Interstate. No charge.

We have a large scale at a restraunt we call truckers because most big rigs stop there to eat and some times wheigh in( never seen them do it). I am pretty shure it is free but I could be wrong. The second closest scale to me that I know of is over an hour away down the interstate! Ok, good luck!
