Pett toilet (uh, not nice subject...but sometimes needed)

General Discussion about almost anything Teardrop or camping related

Oh my goodness Troy ... thanks for the laugh! That link is awesome. Actually this is a good topic for those of us who do not have the ease that other members of this forum (opposite gender) have. Altho we are now teardropless, we're looking for another one, and a slightly larger 1940s or 50s trailer (sleep 4 pref. under 18') and may need to buy something for future use.

Is the PETT the portable toilet of choice.? Have kind of given up on the 'thunder bucket' and want something easier to carry with us... Won't get used much, just for emergencies... but like the bag idea.

You beat me to that one! I was trying to remember the name of it. Who could resist a product named "Uncle Booger's Bumper Dumper"!

Pett is my emergency choice but it is very short for those over 6 Ft tall. I have added a "booster" which does "ease things."
See it at http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/dmb90260/my_photos
in the Teardrop album.
They are not very clear in the photo but I do have "rails" to keep it from sliding off. I also have a shower tent that can be used for the Pett.

I bought something very similar to the Pett toliet, from Cabela. Just be
careful when you pull the bag off the roll, or you'll have a leak, on the
way to the tumpster.... :x

Here's the solution we use. Probably not great if you're tall, but VERY portable. The whole unit, when deflated, fits into a small drawstring bag.
