Nice looking Teardrop Chip! Is TPO a roofing product. I may have missed if you said earlier... I like those windows too. You are coming along well!
I noticed the carport that you are building in. Is it sturdy enough for permanent use to store under? I have folks in the area that sell those structures for around $1000 set up on your site. I was thinking about a single stall version with extra siding/roof metal, and keeping the stripper in it for the winter. What do you think?

Chip,
Ahhh...brings back memories! That glue could make you awful happy if you smelled it too long I think!
Looks great!
We had a guy stop and ask us all about the roofing material on ours at our campsite this time.
Hey, no flamigos yet, but I did manage to use some patio lights!

Hey Chip, How is the bubbling on it, or is there any, and how much does it show the imperfections of the wood underneth?

Hey Troy,,the bubbling is not to bad but I know they are there and its just an aggrivation,,,the TPO is a bit stiffer than PVC so it will span small imperfections but if they are pronounced then you will be able to see them,,I had the side walls pretty smooth so they turned out pretty good other than a few small bubbles,,gonna get the hypodermic after them and squirt a bit of glue under the skin to hold it down,,I will just be glad to get the top on and the edges heat welded together,,I am gonna run a compression bar over the seam to make sure it all stays together.all and all I am pleased with it other than them d*&% bubbles

Hey Chip,
In regards to those, "tiny bubbles...." (Remember that bathtub song?)
Did you use a roller to apply the TPO?
Was the glue a contact type, where you coat both surfaces, let dry, then adhear the PTO to the wood surface? Or was it a wet glue application that gave you some working time to get the bubbles out?

I'm a cedar stripper kind of guy and I really like the looks of the upkeep situation on this PTO vs. revarnishing the wood every few years.

PS If you go back an edit out that incorrect long string of text in the first post, we won't have to scroll back and forth sideways to read this thread.

Dean,,Yup I used a roller,,silicone and steel,,I used a contact adhesive,,coated both sides wait for it to dry etc etc,,guess I got a little anxious or a spot didnt dry completely yet,,,or I missed a spot on the TPO when I was putting on the glue,,but I didnt get a wrinkle in the sides and its easy to do,,I have used both types of glue on roofing jobs and the one coat water based glue just does not hold as good on vertical surfaces,,,stayed wid the good ole sniffable stuff,,woo hoo,,,
