Hey Slow, best of luck with that type of time line. I spent 2 years doing mine (& I'm not even called slow), if you can do one in a week, I want to see it! Also, set up a camera as I would like to see a fast video of Slow at work in the shop!

I don't have the words to describe how unfeasible that is.

Good to set goals even if you don't reach them. I think you should go for it, after all, it only took a couple of years to get your new trailer to the point it is now. What's another week?

Campable YES !

Postby bobhenry » Thu Jul 08, 2010 7:41 am

OK ! Up at 5:00 and snapping pics at 5:45 am.

Here are a few.

This is only about 6+ hours into the project so progress is a little limited but it is starting to look like a teardrop.

Profile pic looks a bit funny because it is not setting level but it was do to rain today so I lifted the front so the water would shed off. Used the fence post treat on the 3/4 floor on all sides

I think doing something like that would be very gratifying. Maybe not if I were spending the time trying to figure things out, but if this ain't your first rodeo...

I started on July 11th.

A week later...

Image

We really pushed to get it done in a timely fashion... But we weren't ready to go until Sept 5th...

Image

And that was just bare essentials...

So it took us just under 2 months... granted we were working full time, but even if we added up the hours, it still would be a whole lot more than 56 hours (8 hours a day x 7 weeks)

Mike, you get it campable without the sewing done in a week and we will consider it a success.

Now you need to give us a starting date. Get all your supplies before you start the clock. I think you can git er dun.

It's been over a week. Do "we" have a Tear yet?
