the "defenition" I recall from this site is 6x12 feet is about the max for a traditional teardrop, and no ability to stand inside.

Slow,
Mine is 6'-4" wide x 12' x 5'-4" tall due to the drop floor and raised sides. I can't quite stand up in mine but the wife can. We have a full size bed cross ways in the rear, giving us floor space for more grandkids, a table to play cards etc. in bad weather and a "cabinate/storage/bunk across the front.
This originally began as a Campster 12, but morphed into what it is. A big 6' wide gally in the rear is pretty nice.
Getting ready to build a 6'x12' standy this winter. (6' tall?)

"big" is defined as larger than the norm, so to define big, you really need to define the norm. The norm "in my opinion" is a 4' or 5' wide, 10' long teardrop that you can stand next to and still see over. Anything bigger than that is an XL!

I have what I consider a "Big Tear" at 5X10. In my opinion a standard is 4x8.

I consider Conch Fritter a "big teardrop". It is 5.5' x 5.5' x 10'. I consider a traditional TD as 4x4x8. Also, ours is more of a modified Benroy shape that a true teardrop.

I also consider my 230#, 64 year old body as a "previously in shape with far fewer aches and pains in past years". :-)
