Received the tank today, I am impressed very heavy duty with back pack straps. I have not been able to find a source for more of them or more information.
And Bob there is always one in the group :roll:

Yeah, I can be one of "them" type every now and then. But you have got to admit, these tanks are interesting. To a prepper that is. :worship:

One of my goals with Compass Rose was to be able to take water from streams and lakes and make it potable and with various filters I can do that. Storing large quantities of water with out treatment strikes me as some what more risky.

I agree and so do the tank people for the link I provided. While I did not read the details, they talk about treated water and I believe how to make untreated water safe. I also believe the untreated water had a quite short shelf life.

This is very much where I came from with my trailer as well. Back country camping was high on the use case list, so energy and water independence are critical.
My build, 5x8 modified benroy "Smiles to go". Started April 2nd 2015, first trip August 2nd 2015.
