I can use them for dining, food prep, projects, cooler, end tables when we sit in camp for essentials such as books, binoculars, drinks, phones/tablet and hookah in some states.

I guess we all have our preferences and choose what pleases us the most. Free standing tables are good and so are fixed (attached to trailer) are in my opinion also good. I like the cleaner lines, security from being knocked around and they do not take up space in the center or there abouts of our canopy which for me allows for more room overall.

I like having the additional space. We really don't need a freestanding table. It's also nice that it's right outside the door so we can easily grab things off the table at night.

We use both. We have a folding, free standing aluminum table from WalMart that is used at various places around a campsite. We also have a smaller 'mesh-top' folding table that we bought at a Camping World (in Bowling Green, KY I think) many years ago. It still goes with us every trip & is a perfect size to use as an end table between chairs, or just for general use. The 'fixed' location side table(s) also see quite a lot of use. We have certain items we place on them & they're always handy & right where we want them, when we want them. We also have a couple of folding Coleman stove stands that we use for various purposes including holding a Coleman stove if we don't want to use the galley table. Having lots of options is a good thing we think, & they don't take up a lot of room. The side table is stored atop boxes in lower compartments of the galley, while the free standing tables ride in the pickup TV. Lotsa folks don't want ANY cargo inside the TD cabin, & that works for them. We, on the other hand carry our 1st-Up shelter on the bed, as well as our folding chairs. We 'make' the bed with an old 'camo' blanket on top to protect the bedding from damage/dirt from the 'cargo'. It is easily folded/rolled down at night & is not a problem. Works for us...

Gives me the idea to put an outlet outside the camper to use when the hatch is closed
I saw on another site where the table had a spot under the cabinets inside it took up no space
I need to learn how to post links today
