I just wonder how much it weighs, the folding orou kayak is rather heavy, and this is bigger.
I'm also not convinced about longevity of the hull material.

The web site says a 14.5 ft boat weighs in at 52 lbs. that’s about 25 lbs lighter than my Old Town Sarenac. But it also costs three (maybe four) times as much at $1500.00 :shock:.

It looks like it could use a small outboard engine or electric motor. I like the wider one for my wider body. $1490.00

Looks interesting. In the past I've considered getting an inflatable canoe. That is so it could be stowed inside the vehicle or TTT and out of the wind stream.

Might be OK for lake use, but I can't see banging that around in our rock-infested rivers.
The more stuff I take along, the more time I spend taking care of my stuff!
