General Discussion about almost anything Teardrop or camping related

We have no heat but an electric blanket or our own bodies. When we camp on a cold night we use the electric blanket. When there is no electric we use a down sleeping bag over us. Both windows and the top vent stay open. Also I have a simple hook mechanism for each door to hold it open a crack. We have never had a problem with condensation. (Yet!)

I see two areas where we might be lucky. Our camper is ventilated severely compared to most. Our camper is completely open inside with no cabinets or kitchen so has a larger interior volume than the typical 4x8 tear.

Has anyone installed mushroom vents like these to help with airflow?

https://www.amazon.com/RecPro-RV-Attic- ... B017MP1RH0

Vents like these are often used in boats as well (in much pricier stainless steel) and are also incorporated into the new Chesapeake Lightcraft teardrop kit. Seems like they could be a nice way to add to the whole air circulation picture, although maybe a bit fiddly to install as they don't seem to be designed for thick walls. My TD will have 1 1/4 in. walls and these appear to be meant for a lot less than that.

Anyway, does anyone have experience with these things or something like them?

They also use something like this on RVs for sewer vents. It looks like to me that these just screw to the top of the roof like an RV vent cover. Is there way to close off these vents ? I like the idea of these though.
