Fenders...

Postby KingAirNeal » Fri Nov 25, 2016 6:28 pm

Looking at the fenders from the tear drop trailer parts guy in Michigan. The flat sided diamond plate ones.

Anyone have any experience with those? And can anyone get me detailed dimensional data?

Or can anyone suggest an alternative?

Just give them a call or email. I'm buying doors and a window from him and I just emailed to ask him for the rough opening size. He's pretty helpful.

I checked Northern Tool. Just happen to have them on clearance that week. 1/2 priced.

Are these round or jeep-style diamond plate fenders?

I'd assume they don't come with fender backs. Most aluminum treadplate fenders are designed to mounted to the sidewall of the camper using self-tapping screws and fender welt to prevent squeaks. Is that how you're planning to mount them?

The flat style has a mounting flange.
