That looks great! Will that be a window above the sink?

Your layout is similar to mine which is more bare bones. Love the real fridge and oven/ range!

You're doing a marvelous job on the CalCraft Jim. Hope we'll be able to see it somewhere 'down the road'. That would've been nice at Cloudcroft a few years ago. See ya,

aggie79 wrote:Hi Jim,

Your canned ham "re-build" looks fantastic!

As you know, I've been following your build to increase my knowledge base in case I ever decide to build a standy. I've pretty much understood - with your explanations and pictures - what you've done so far, but I have a couple of questions about your roof structure. I believe you're using 1/4" ply (or thereabouts) for the interior skin. What are you using for spars - 1x2 (flat on on edge), 2x2, etc.? How do you plan to build up the perimeter edges? Maybe by using plywood strips between the spars? (I believe that is how vintage trailers were built.)

Thank you and take care,
Tom

I started building up the perimeter for the top:

Blending the old with the new, the handle on that faucet sort of replicates the pattern of the Formica. ...Good choice.
