Grumman profile drawing

Hi all,

I'm in the early daydreaming stage and want to mock up an 8ft Grumman (either scale model or full size). I found the very detailed dimension drawing (lofting diagram?) in the Design Library, but I'm not clear on where or how deep to make the galley notch. Every time I search the forum for the exact answer I want, I find ten other fun things to read about and get lost down the rabbit hole. So, sorry if the answer is easily found, but I find I'm a little too easily distracted...

So, I have two questions:

Is there a detailed set of drawings for the 8 ft. grumman profile that includes the galley cut?

Since I'm thinking of building it as a foamie, do you know any great build threads to point me to? I've been finding lots and lots of them just clicking around, but I'm just asking in case you have a favorite that is particularly applicable to building an 8ft grumman in foam. I'm working my way through the big foam thread.
