I remember seeing a thing on how a truck driver who delivered small trailers from the factory to dealers eventually sold his big rig and bought an F350. the pickup could tow the trailer trailer, but it was also short enough to put one more trailer on top of a custom built rack on the truck. so instead of delivering 4 trailers, he could now deliver 5 and do so with a lower cost vehicle that got slightly better fuel economy.
neither here nore there but your photo, plus one more on top of the tow vehicle is basically what this guy did every day for work.
