You need a CAD program to open a DXF file.

Thanks Guys. I never used a CAD, so I don't know use one. I'm not very computer savy. More reclined than inclined. :(

If you post the DXF file here I can convert it for you when I go to work tomorrow.

Thanks for the offer azgregg. But don' t want to be a bother. I was looking at the Simple in design resource. Not sure why that one appeals to me more than the others. :?

The benefit of a DXF over a PDF is that you can scale up a DXF and the lines stay the same thickness. On a PDF the lines get thicker. Not a problem for most things we do. The other benefit to DXF is if you plan to have pieces cut out on a laser or CNC router. Still a fair amount of work to do, but you are a LOT farther along starting with a DXF compared to having only a PDF.

IF this site can't do it, search out similar type of sites and possibly be able to find one that can...
