Caulk

Postby Shadow Catcher » Fri Mar 10, 2017 7:32 pm

As most of us have long realized if you add RV in front of a product name the the price goes up by three or four hundred percent and the quality goes down precipitously.
I have had caulk failures and leaks.
Does any one have a clue why I should pay $11 a tube for Geocel. (I did). Caulk used in automotive is designed to last the life of the car and then some.
Looking for technical information.

I thought it went,
Household = base price.
RV = household x 2
Marine = RV x 2
Aircraft = Marine x 2
NASA = Aircraft x 2.
