SLG What a Wonderful Event

Postby Vedette » Tue May 02, 2017 11:20 am

Once again, we were able to attend the Shasta Lake Gathering! :D
What a Wonderful Relaxing Event!
Such good people, nice weather, and a chance to see old Teardrop Friends.
Thanks Lydia! :wine: And good luck with your new endeavours in the PNW.
We look forward to seeing more of you now that you are closer ( in your new 11' wide TD) to us. ;)
And Thanks to those who have stepped up to keep this Great Gathering going! :wine:
We look forward to being there again next year with our new TD.

Super great seeing you and Sandy. Looking forward to the grand unveiling of Kermit, unless you get side tracked again.

Yep, an excellent gathering. It's always great to see my teardrop friends again, some of whom I see only at this event.

Thanks again Lydia for all your hard work and dedication. I wish you luck on your next adventure.

And Ted, thanks for providing back-up electric heat for my chilly trailer ;-)

And Thank You Charlie for the overnight on the way home.
That was such a great visit, even after a weekend with you at the Gathering.
Kitchen looked Great! ;)
We made good time to Redmond from your place, even though the snow was 4' deep at the summit as we passed Crater Lake.
Stayed at Cove Palisades Monday night (slept 13 hours!! ....15 hours in Miss Piggy before emerging in the morning???? ;)
Ended up crossing back to the "wet side" Tuesday to say good bye to Jim and Sue (before their move) and enjoying Marrianne's Birthday with Mexican food and more Margaritas :wine:
Made the "Mark of Zoro" on the Washington/Oregon map on the way home.......but Miss Piggy had new tires waiting for her in Redmond.
After a rainy night on the coast we made a fast retreat across Beautiful Hwy 12 to Yakima for beer and Nachos at "Walk About Creek Pub" (another one of my favourite stops??? ) before heading over the mountain to the sunshine Wenatchee Valley.
Arrived home today just before noon (Thursday) after a very enjoyable night at Lincoln Rock State Park last night and great breakfast in Peteros..
