Camco 40421 Aero-Flo Roof Vent Cover died

Camco 40421 Aero-Flo Roof Vent Cover installed for about 16 months just disintegrated into dust. Now that I am reading reviews I see this happens a lot or at least to people that write reviews. I never noticed that is made of resin, not polyurethane which is a better choice for sun. Want to order the Maxxair 00-955001 White Fanmate Cover with Ez Clip Hardware as I see no bad reviews but I'd like any feedback from here before I sink that much money into a cover.

I know it was out in the SoCal sun, desert and mountains but it should have lasted longer. Think that removable will make my cover fit better and I can store it inside away from the elements.

So any good or bad???

I bit the bullet and bought the MaxxAir. Camping World has it on sale cheaper than Amazon right now, one day shipping. Looks good, probably fits a Max fan better than a Fantastic Fan but all the brackets fit and line up, will have it done this week.
