Canada Camping Trip

Postby Vedette » Sun Jul 02, 2017 10:36 am

Well we woke up this morning to the piecefull sounds of morning doves in the shade of a beautiful tree to clear blue skies and fresh air.
How better to start a day after an impromptu Canada Day Camping Trip.
So to back track. Last night at 6:00 pm we sitting in the back yard enjoying a cold beer under one of our shade trees looking out over the yard admiring our labours of the day.
It was such a nice warm evening that we decided it would be nice to take Miss Piggy out camping  ....we miss sleeping in her. ;)
So, it was up to the barn, hook her to the Stude, and by 6:10 pm she was down in front of the house, and Sandi was putting the mattress in.
By 6:20 we were loaded and ready to go! :applause:
We arrived at our destination..........our campground at the back of our farm at 6:22 pm.
We were backed in, levelled, and ready for and night under the stars and the 1/2 moon by 6:25 pm.
Isn't life wonderful? :wine:

Looking forward to our next adventure!

It sounds like a memorable camp night. Sometimes those impromptu camp-outs are the best!
...Glad you heard from Mary.

Glad to hear Mary arrived safely. Give her my best.

No, I won't be at Sunsets etc. Too busy getting ready for Brian's Farm Gathering, and trying to get my bathroom remodeled! Oh, and making beer for the farm gathering ;-)

I read that as 'Canada Dry' camping. Lots of weird thoughts then it hit me... "Happy 150th"

I know a great spot thereabouts. :D Tell Mary I said howdy. I'm up near Whitehorse, now. Onward to Dawson!
I'll burn that bridge when I come to it.
