Hi Guys.
We have a teardrop over here in England but without the sort of following and back up you guys have it is difficult for us to find much in the way of help.
We have a bespoke teardrop and we need an awning. We have one which is a an awning for a tent that we have to attach to our pod with chewing gum and bits of string. It works reasonably well if the weather isn't too bad but as you can imagine in our rough climate the wind and rain can soon get in.
My idea was to fix a awning rail to the pod then sew some tent material to the awning piping and fix that, with some adjustments to the existing awning we have. Hope you are with me so far.
I cannot find any 6mm awning rail in plastic. There is aluminium but I figure if it is plastic it can be heated and shaped to follow the round contours of the pod. If it can be attached to the pod with some countersunk screws al the better.
Can anyone suggest a supplier of the plastic rail or a link on the web that will move me forward.
Thanks Aldo
