Slow, since you're on the upper great plains - a land of fly fishing in streams for the most part, maybe you should think about spending some quality time on one of the coasts: East, West, Gulf. Look into all the fishing you can do just from the surf. The options will be different in every locale.

Fishing is one of the reasons for the teardrop. When I lived in CT my son and I did some kayak fishing in the finger lakes in upstate NY. What a great 3 or 4 days that was. The only bummer was driving away from the lakes to get to the hotel. Teardrop would have made that memory perfect.

We frequently creep over the border into Montana to loop a black ant into the pools.
