Chrome Side Trim/Moulding

Postby Jeepnick » Thu Apr 05, 2018 7:12 pm

I really like the look of the chrome trim/moulding along the side of the Atma Travelear and decided early in my build that I would put the same thing on my teardrop. I found the manufacturer of the trim "Cowles" and the trim is available for purchase on their website, but it is very pricey! I was going to swallow hard and buy it anyway, but I decided to do more digging and I'm glad I did!

Autozone sells the same products (though not in all the sizes) for much less money. Cowles is $80+ for 30 feet depending on width. Autozone has the same thing for $18 for 12 feet --- That's about $1.10 per foot less for the exact same product!
