Private Messages = ERROR

Anyone else having problems with not getting to Private Messages?

Error says to contact site administrator...

Mike decided to disable Personal Messages because of a new ruling/law that came down the pike. See: viewtopic.php?p=1226307#p1226307

I'm disappointed, too. I had some info there that I hadn't copied. Also, I will probably have to go incognito with a new ID as I don't like lurkers to know when I'm going to be gone or am going to a camp gathering; so, I was sometimes using the PM function for that. I've had lurkers (non-members) show up at camp functions, looking for me and I've even had a couple people tell me where I live....kinda unnerving. (This was the first forum that I had ever joined; so, didn't know better or really think about it.) I was hoping that Mike would decide to go private; but, I guess he figured this was the best solution.

Sharon, you made a couple good points that I considered before joining this forum.. One reason we don't have a F-book account anymore.. Have lost a few things in PM also, that I should have copied.. But, was it was private and would always be there..
Just have to be a lot more careful about information that's shared in open chat,, NOW
