Elevated Floor

Looking for a trailer to start this project and I found a lot of these which led me to think of this.

I can build my deck on the top of the railing. This will give me the under deck storage I was already planning to build.

I can also extend it over the wheels to get more floor space.

Opinions?

Sure but now harder to keep the roof low an still have decent height inside. Maybe go popup.

Can still go wide without that high a floor, if you accept the complexity of going around wheel wells.

And note the storage can go lower than nominal floor level.

that concept would be ready made for a healthy foot well which would be great in foul weather

the side hatches would have metal anchors for hinges and fasteners

if you can acquire a lay down propane tank it could live down there having the built in wire basket underneath for safety

it only requires an imagination ;-)
