Here's the story behind it.
It was bought originally in 1947 by the Sister. It was then passed on to the brother and has been in the family the whole time.
It was originally all white but the grey looking color which I thought was primer is actually what is the result of having the painted sandblasted off. It has an ice box on the left side of the galley with a 3 burner stove on a slider on top of the ice box. The galley shelves/counter,cupboard frame's have been rehabbed/repainted/had formica applied. The galley needs to be redone. The galley/hinge doesn't appear to have any seals.
The fenders appear to be aluminum as well as the roof skin. I am I undecided as to stain the outside walls or finish in aluminum. It appears to be missing a few pieces of trim on the bottom of the walls.
The interior hadesign some metal braces welded in different places. I am undecided as to keep or cutout. The PO also put some wooded framing on the inside and may have added a few too many adding more weight instead.
Now my search on the frame is to find a serial # somewhere and any manufacturers markings. It does have a Fulton on it.
More pics coming shortly
