Stolen teardrop in CA-sunset mag trailer huilder

Postby nevadatear » Sun Jul 28, 2019 3:02 pm

Just heard from our friend Joe and Leslie Kosareff. Last night their teardrop “chili pepper” was stolen from their California home, in Pennren on the central coast. Joe is famous amount TD builders as he built many custom trailers, including this one and the one on Sunset magazine a few years ago. Many photos FB the trailer can be seen on their rental website, vacations in a can. But note the chili pepper now has orange fenders, not yellow on the website. http://vacations-in-a-can.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/CP04.jpg

I added it to a nation-wide Women's camping group website. However, I'm thinking it's probably on its way south to Mexico. That means people in Southern California probably have the best chance to spotting and stopping it, if it's not too late.

Poor Joe and Leslie. They've worked very hard for what they have and don't deserve this. I doubt insurance will cover the loss as Joe built it himself.

The trailer was spotted in Sonoma county being pulled by a small car and a duct tape for a hitch! If you are in norcal, keep watching and sharing. I have shared to several FB teardrop pages.

Also check local websites "for sale" ad's. Probably gonna try to make a quick buck.

There was a stolen flatbed trailer in our area. FB response was great.
It was spotted and a few guys found it, pulled him out of the truck at gunpoint.
