Thank you

I've been watching some videos on youtube about boodocking near monument valley and can't wait to get a chance to do something like that. It might take a few years till I get a trailer built, bugs worked out and the kids are old enough to take on an extended 3-4 week trip. Your photos are great and they are inspiring !!!!

We went to Acadia National park for a 3 day weekend this summer tent camping and it rained 2 of the 3 days, the kids loved it but logistically it was a mess for us thus the renewed desire to have a camper again.

For a somewhat off road capable trailer, what do you think about this frame? It will cost more than a $150 pop-up camper, but after putting $500 of suspension in that pop-up it will be close in price.

ex military generator trailer, looks like it needs new tires / rims, It is definitely overkill for putting a lightweight composite top on it, it would also be kind of expensive to register in MA due to the high capacity but I'm guessing it would be quite durable and I wouldn't be able to break it doing what I would like to do.

Here's another one, similar complaints to the first but it has the bows on top, the thought on this one would be cut out the cross bars on the bows and build a box inside the bows.

I've been playing around with sketchup making a whole bunch of the designs around a box of 75"w x 10' long and 5' high.

Here's the latest I've come up with. The black portion of the top would pop-up in the rear. I think it has a general layout that would allow us to step inside and be able to stand up and get changed inside and sleep 4 without having to break down a bed

I haven't figured out where to put storage, water, fridge, batteries, etc but there should be plenty of room underneath the beds and an opportunity to put in more storage along the left wall.

Please provide your opinions of the design and suggestions to improve it.
