Climate Right ac hoses

Postby Basicfish » Sat Oct 12, 2019 1:55 pm

I picked up a climateright cr5000-ach at a bargain price but no hoses.
Is anyone used something other than the factory style 3 1/4 inch hoses.

Thanks

We're looking for something else. The factory hoses are noisy! Haven't found anything suitable yet though...

On my old camper. I used automotive defroster hose. It was used outside so moisture buildup on the outside of the hose wasn't a issue. The 5K climate right I used was oversize for the space I had. So I was not worried about cooling lose eather.

I also used 3" Valterra RV waste connections for attachment points.

I just went out in the garage. I do have the orginal hoses from my climate right. I don't have any of the cheap mounting flanges. You can have them for shipping.

I did add the flanges to the climate right. That way connections would be just a fast twist lock setup. I'll get a pic later on today. I also moved the wiring plug to the outside of the unit. Using the flange connection the opening was kind of small for my fat fingers.
