Yes, I'd like the full report too.

I was planning on going to Ocean Lakes Family Campground, just a few miles north of there, but when I found out the price was almost $50 a night, I changed my mind. But if the price is better at the State Campground... quite possible...

Mike...

P.S. I need a little more vacation time!!!

Too bad I won't be ready with the Weekender for your Aug. trip. Are you planning anything later in the year? I know Frank and Linda want us to come down there too. Got a lot of catching up to do!

We went to the state park about 7-8 years ago. The park itself was really nice ( lots of trees ) but unfortunately, we arrived after the 4th of July crowd and the place was completely trashed. We had lost the brakes on our 1957 22' Airstream Custom, so we pulled out and went over to Camping World. Pulled out of there and went to one of the campgrounds that were right on the beach. Our kids really liked being right on the beach better than the trees.
