What is OSB?

Oriented Strand Board. Comes in 4'x8' sheets in a few thicknesses like plywood but is basically thin chips glued and pressed into a sheet.

Used to be but new binding resins have stabelized the product and are now rated from an engineering standpoint to be comperable. I have 3 campers with osb shells that have been stored out of doors their entire life one built in 2011 and most finished by 2013. All are doing just fine.

That type of board wasn't used in the original build. We did use it for the roof. Sealed the roof tight. The flex seal was perfect. No leaks since I pout it on. The other panels and wood that I used have been of better quality. The better quality wood still got sealed. Better safe than sorry.
