had a few ask how hard to make your own fiberglass skins . Most real fiberglass skins are gel-coat and mat. It is heavy and a bit weak . As it comes in a roll cost a lot to ship. cheaper to ship a pale .We use gel/mat /7oz woven mat . here a video how easy turn off the sound if you are flowing saltydawg ,whiteryanc , Stomperxj build same ideal. this was more for those that can not drive and shipping cost is to high . Those that want the lower weight and a bit stronger . Cost for fiberglass is going to be hard to guess. for what happened in CHINA A lot of rollable skins come from there . Order 1000 pounds of mat all they sale was under 500 pounds. A 50'' roll is 114 pounds. The last panales with inside glass ,1 '' HD foam out side glass with gel coat with a $15.oo worker was $ .84 a square foot on 5' by 10' panel .

I sanded it to give room for a layer of glass and filled it with microballons and epoxy. Then I painted it with boat paint.
