Thank you T&TT!!

Postby Mary K » Tue Aug 03, 2021 10:25 am

Hi folks,

Its been a while since I have posted but, I just want to say thank you to all the people on the forum. Old timers and newbies alike. In 2006 I found this forum, and was inspired to build a Teardrop. I got so much help from all of you. I could not have done it with out you.

But all good things must come to an end. Today my niece and her husband pick up my Teardrop, The Crows Nest. This will be a new beginning also. They have two toddlers that will grow up camping. They are going to make a lot of good memories with her.

Anywho, This forum has been instrumental in my life. Peace and Love to you all, and again A Big Thank You. :dancing

Mary,
I don’t know you but it must have been a yin and yang day for you for sure. I am still in the midst of my build but when I part with it I certainly want it to go to someone within my family as well. An opportunity for youngsters to enjoy is the frosting on the cake.
Best to you in your new endeavors.

That is a beautiful trailer!

Was it always stored in a garage?

Nice to see you Mary. I hope you can still find ways to get out and camp.

Thank you all.

@drhill She was stored in a "shed" of sorts. But not the this past year. I moved and she was out in the weather with a tarp. :(

For now I am done camping, but a Class B Camper Van is in my future.

Peace out!

Things change. I started with a teardrop and enjoyed it for a few years. At the time I was doing dog shows and rainy weather became an issue. I moved on to the vintage trailer in my avatar. I used it for 15 years but the years added up to an older body. It was harder to move it around and deal with things. A year ago it moved off with my nephew and family. They love it. The teardrop has moved on to a young lady who took it to Burning Man back when that was still on.

I still check the T&TT site almost daily ready to pass on misinformation I gathered over the years, I was able to pass on the Teardrop mania to a friend who purchased hers a year ago.

Keep in touch.
