I found these on eBay. Boat transom lights. 6 cp and Stainless steel, so no rust and they are flush to the side. $13

Well,
There are plenty of choices out there...
So many in fact, now I can't decide.
Oh... I came up with an idea. :o
Since I'm going with an arched top door...
I gotta make an arched top rain diverter.
Why not take a small narrow strip of LEDs and place them in a dado on the underside of the rain diverter???
I ordered this today and will do some testing with it...

This strip when unrolled is 14" long x 3/8" wide x 1/8" tall with 60 LEDs and has 3M mounting tape on the back side.
That'd be different...

couldn't you have a fixture with two elements in it? one low power, other high power? Just take a dual throw switch.

Will,
If my test works out, I may go with a dimmer switch. :lightbulb: :lightbulb: :lightbulb:

If I roll out of the camper at 3am for a potty break and set foot on a snake,, I might as well just crawl back in the teardrop,, I wont need to go hunting a tree any more,, course a change of clothes will definately be in order,,,

If my trailer is rocking,, no problem,, I am just changing clothes

Dean...something to think about on a porch light is that you want to direct light in a sort of downward direction, remember those on mine? I found them for #2 switched on the body of the light...my first tear has them switched from the inside...clear or amber interchangeable lenses...check out Camping world or just about any of the local RV suppliers...Doug

Doug,
It could be a combination of both...
I did four specialty bath enclosures today and I was thinking more about my build than my work in front of me...
Thanks for posting that...
