Squaredrop Cover

Postby Onajourney » Sat Apr 29, 2023 2:16 pm

Does anyone have a recommendation on a squardrop cover other than the crummy ones on Amazon or a customer cover maker? I tried the amazon one and doesn't work for me and the reviews are not good so it's going back. Looks like I might need to build an overhang off the garage. It never ends!

Try your local upholstery shop. They can make you one or modify the cover you already have if it's too big.

Hiker Trailer (squaredrop mfr) has covers that they sell now.

PahaQue also sells covers for several different trailer models/shapes.

We get pretty mild winters here so I've been using a car (hatchback) cover I got off Amazon for the last 3 years.....I know it's not perfect but it works pretty good.....and it didn't cost hundreds of dollars (about $65 if I remember correctly)

I got this one:

I have been using tarps. I have a flat top so I soon learned that water pooled on the tarp. I used a half deflated basketball on top of the vent to give some slope. This was never a good solution for a wood trailer in Ohio. A car port, even temporary, is a much better solution.

Got a tarp until I build a roof off the garage for it. The ball idea is a good one.
