Videos are still a little behind the actual build. We got caught up on a snag - the ACM wasn't as "bendy" as we hoped for, a squaredrop would have been much easier - but we never seem to pick an easy route and both of us do prefer the teardrop look. We have 3 roof seams as we couldn't find large enough material to go seamless, one seam falls right on the curve, holding it together and keeping it waterproof has been a challenge.
We tried several extrusions, H-channel, different lengths and types of fasteners and screws...But finally this week - SUCCESS! We deliberated, discussed, experimented, added, removed, cussed and fussed about a simple piece of aluminum connecting the two pieces of roofing on the curve. Now that we have a successful process, it's full steam ahead on the remainder of the roof. Hubby is pleased with the result.
